The Problems We Face

Facing The Reality

In the midst of global financial crisis that is hitting the world, we are also faced with electricity crisis, not just money problem.

From more than 16.000 islands our country has, almost 60% of it are not yet or still can not be reached by grid electricity properly and/or difficult to get the other energy resources such as : fuel, kerosene. The 'lucky 40% still also have to deal with energy deficiency that result in :

  • grid electricity has to be cut off a few times in a week/day
  • there is not enough kerosene/fuel stock to fulfill the need of the entire consumers
  • disturbance in the electricity quality
  • disturbance in business operations due to intermittent energy supply
  • increasing electricity tariff/fuel charge
  • anxiety and social unrest.

People try to seek for the best answer for the problem, and the answer is there just right out of our window.

The Solutions

In Indonesia, sun energy is the most abundant and reliable source of energy, does not expire, yet the less used by us. We keep on using fossil fuel energy in our daily life and forgot about the disastrous consequences we need to face in the coming year, by the phenomenon called Global Warming. We keep on spending more money, investing more capital in exhaustible energy projects, while putting ourselves and the earth in the brink of extinction.

The good news is, now we know there are many supporting technology we can get to harness sun energy and use it to supply power (could be in the form of electricity or other physics product)  for many home, commercial, industrial, or public services applications .

Here is a brief basic understanding on how we can capture the solar energy :
